Capturing Canberra’s Mid-Century heritage
Every house has its own little quirks — a porch that creaks, a tree that has been there forever, the way the afternoon light hits the bricks. I try to capture those feelings; these drawings are my way of holding onto those details — of showing what makes each home quietly special. You can choose between two styles: one simple and airy, the other a bit richer and more detailed.
A5 Fountain Pen — $90
The A5 Fountain Pen Drawings are light and direct — clean fountain-pen lines that catch the outline and rhythm of your home without overcomplicating it.
They feel a bit like something from a sketchbook: honest, unfussy, and personal. Perfect if you like that loose, hand-drawn feel or want a smaller piece that still carries a sense of place.
A5 Textured — $250
These A5 drawings are small, but full of quiet detail. Crosshatching builds soft shadow and texture — roof tiles, garden leaves, the way sunlight touches a wall.
Each one has its own stillness; a calm little portrait of home.
A4 Textured — $490
The A4 drawings have more presence — they’re detailed, layered, and textured, with more time spent bringing the character of your home to life.
They bring out the grain of the paper, the pattern of the roof, the weight of the trees and garden. It’s a quiet drawing, focused on capturing the feeling of home, rather than just the look of it.
How it works
Firstly, choose between one of the two styles:
A5 Fountain Pen
A5 Textured
A4 Textured
Fill out the form with as much info as you can. (If you don’t have the exact image you want as refernce, don’t worry!)
Receive a confirmation email within a few days with an invoice and estimated completion timeframe.
Once your drawing is completed it will be packaged up & you will be notified when it is on its way.
